Why I left Instagram

I was tired of Instagram and decided to leave.

The algorithm needs to be fed constantly, and pictures have a very short lifespan.

I was looking for new places to share photos. Somewhere that would be more about appreciation than consumption. Somewhere that would be more about slowing down than catching up.
